MY NAME IS ERIN.
I spent over a decade being told my pain was normal—until I finally got diagnosed with endometriosis. After undergoing excision surgery and reclaiming my health, I built The Gold Standard Collective to help others avoid the same exhausting search for answers. You deserve care that listens. You deserve a new standard.
Hello There!About MeWhere My Fight Began—and Yours Finds Hope
At 15, I was put on birth control to manage period pain. For years, I lived with fatigue, nausea, and cramps so intense I missed days of my life. It wasn’t until I found the endo community—and a specialist who listened—that I finally received a proper diagnosis. When I stopped the pill in my 20s, the pain came back louder than ever. I was barely functioning—curled up with a heating pad for weeks at a time, battling nausea, bloating, and exhaustion. The answers I got? IBS. Stress. Food intolerances. But deep down, I knew something more was going on.
I discovered endometriosis not through a doctor—but through the power of patient-led spaces like Nancy’s Nook. It was there I learned the truth, found a specialist, and finally underwent excision surgery. On New Year’s Eve of 2024, twelve out of fourteen biopsies confirmed Stage 1 endometriosis. This just shows you that even the tiniest part of endometriosis can impact you so severely- since stage doesn’t correlate with pain.
That moment changed everything.
I created The Gold Standard Collective so others wouldn’t have to fight this hard for answers. Here, you’ll find the support, resources, and validation I spent years searching for.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or still searching, you deserve real answers—and a place that finally feels like home.”
